The Alchemy CATALYST Image Translator is a free iPhone app that translates text within pictures that you take with your iPhone camera. Letters within images are recognized, translated, and displayed on your phone so you can understand signs, menus, and books written in foreign languages.

The Alchemy CATALYST Image Translator also offers free text translation – just type in a phrase that you need to say and the translation will appear on the iPhone in seconds.

iPhone Requirements

• iPhone or iPod Touch with OS 4.0 or above
• Wi-Fi or cellular connection is required for translation
• OCR does not require internet connection
• Pictures must be taken with the camera held vertically

To download to your iPhone

The Alchemy CATALYST Image Translator supports over 30 languages and can be downloaded directly to your phone. On your iPhone:-
